The Josiah B. and Sara Moore House was the scene of a brutal crime where eight people (six children) were murdered while they slept peacefully in their home. The Villisca Axe Murder is one of the most devastating and eerie stories in U.S. history and the home has been rumored to feature paranormal sightings that were actually caught on tape.

The Amityville House on 112 Ocean Avenue, in Amityville, NY is one of the most famous haunted places in the U.S. The house and the murders that occurred within it was the subject of a slew of Hollywood films based on two of the major stories regarding it. The first was the murders allegedly committed by Ronald DeFeo Jr. He was accused of shooting and killing his family in the home. Later on George and Kathleen Lutz moved into the home and reported a series of hauntings. There continues to be arguments as to whether or not these hauntings really occurred.

The Indiana Demon House was the subject of one of the Ghost Adventures most shocking investigations. The house was said to be inhabited by an evil entity that had the ability to inflict danger to the lives of those who were living there. The house is no longer standing as Ghost Adventures host Zak Bagans purchased and demolished the house because of it’s demonic activity.

The Susie Planation is located in Louisiana, which is known as the most haunted state in the U.S. In some cases there have been reports of a paranormal entity causing physical harm to workers or anyone who happens to be on the plantation.
